At a heated republican debate on Tuesday night at the Ronald Reagan Library Romney accused McCain of using dirty tricks by suggesting that Romney wanted a specific date for U.S. troop removal in Iraq. Romney said “I have never, ever supported a specific timetable, sort of falls into the dirty tricks that I think Ronald Reagan would have found reprehensible.” McCain stood by his comment and defended himself by saying “of course he said he wanted a timetable.” Although the republicans are lagging behind on the heated arguments and dirty tricks, seems like they might slowly be catching on.
