Today is Oprah Palin day in the news. On a story leaked on the Drudge report, apparently Oprah Winfrey does not want to have the first Republican female on a presidential ticket Sarah Palin on her show because of partisan politics. As I said earlier this year, Oprah’s fans love her for her show as a woman and not because of her politics. This Oprah Palin scandal is more of the same from Oprah and Oprah dissing Sarah Palin was to be expected.

In December, Oprah’s fans began to get upset with her over the way Oprah pushed so hard for Barack Obama. Sarah Palin has inspired many women whether Democrat, Republican, or Independent and an Oprah Palin showdown is bad for Oprah’s business. I believe Oprah’s fan would like to see an Oprah Palin show and when they don’t see Oprah and Palin together on the couch they will take it out on Oprah.

Just like back in February when Oprah angered women by saying it’s OK to vote for Barack Obama over Hillary Clinton -AND WOMEN GOT MAD, now that Palin has been Oprah ‘ed expect a backlash. Oprah’s over the line support for Barack Obama should and will hurt her livelihood.

Oprah Winfrey may have introduced Democrat Barack Obama to the women of America — but the talkshow queen is not rushing to embrace the first woman on a Republican presidential ticket!

Oprah’s staff is sharply divided on the merits of booking Sarah Palin, sources tell the DRUDGE REPORT.

“Half of her staff really wants Sarah Palin on,” an insider explains. “Oprah’s website is getting tons of requests to put her on, but Oprah and a couple of her top people are adamantly against it because of Obama.”

One executive close to Winfrey is warning any Palin ban could ignite a dramatic backlash!

It is not clear if Oprah has softened her position after watching Palin’s historic convention speech.

Last year, Winfrey blocked an appearance by Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, timed to a promotional tour of his autobiography.

Oprah and executive producer Sheri Salata, who has contributed thousands of dollars to Obama’s campaign, refused requests for comment.
