Republican candidate Mitt Romney won the Michigan elections tonight.Romney said his victory was “a victory of optimism over Washington-style pessimism,” and continued by saying to The Associated Press Tuesday in a telephone interview. “The people of Michigan said they believe in someone who is going to fight for them,”I’m obviously very, very pleased. Now, on to South Carolina, Nevada, Florida. This campaign is going to go to all 50 states.” This victory will undoubtedly cause a real battle to build up between Romney and Mccain.
