Remember John Kerry, Flip-flopper of the last presidential campaign? Well, he is now backing Obama while implicitly attacking Hillary Clinton’s campaign. Kerry’s backing could influence some on the fence Democrats to now support Obama, but to me this seems like a big mistake. During his own run for the White House, Kerry exposed himself as a fundamental liberal with no backbone and by the end of the election was a confirmed flip-flopper. No president wants to be known as a person who can not take a sharp stance on issues, and Obama has been doing fine until now. Kerry’s backing and Obama’s embrace seems like a bad political move. Why would Obama-a strong, decisive, ambitious leader want to partner up with someone who has proven to be a fool?
