Image by Getty Images via Daylife It seems that the media tables have now turned on Barack Obama. John McCain seems to have used this same statement of ““I think they put some lipstick on a pig, but it’s still a pig” when referring to Hillary Clinton’s health care proposal. However, the media didn’t raise the same frenzy that they are raising now and nor are they quieting the frenzy like they did in the past.
Has the media fallen out of love with Barack Obama?
” Obama campaign spokesman Bill Burton sent reporters a Chicago Tribune article published in 2007 during the Democratic primaries that cites McCain criticizing Hillary Clinton’s health care plan. “I think they put some lipstick on a pig, but it’s still a pig,” McCain is quoted as saying about Hillary Clinton’s health care proposal.”
