Mike Huckabee’s son, David was accused of allegedly participating in the hanging of a stray dog during a boy scout camp in 1998. No formal charges were ever filed, and a request for an investigation by the police was not granted, although Baily, the former director of Arkansas State Police said that the lack of investigation in the case was because of Huckabee’s effort to keep the police away from his son and the accusation.
