Clinton offered a formal apology to Obama, and to show her sincerity accepted the resignation of the campaign member who made the comment about Obama’s drug use as a teenager. Despite the claim that this campaign member acted alone and without the authority of Clinton, Mark Penn, Clinton’s chief strategist used the word cocaine on TV which leads the Obama campaign to question if the Clinton campaign is intentionally trying to associate Obama with drugs.
