For all the people who have been looking for Joe Biden dirt, I finally have some Joe Biden dirt to give you. It is up to you to decide whether this is solid Joe Biden dirt on someone who has a tendency to put his foot in the mouth dropped a gem today. Just when Barack Obama and the Democrats would like to steal the women and Independents back from John McCain and Sarah Palin, Joe Biden riled them up again by pouring salt on their wounds.
In response to a statement by an attendee at a Joe Biden rally in Nashua, New Hampshire that he is happy that Joe Biden was picked for vice president over Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden said that Hillary Clinton would have been more qualified than him to be vice president.
“Make no mistake about this,” Biden responded. “Hillary Clinton is as qualified or more qualified than I am to be vice president of the United States of America. Let’s get that straight. She’s a truly close personal friend, she is qualified to be president of the United States of America, she’s easily qualified to be vice president of the United States of America, and quite frankly, it might have been a better pick than me. But she’s first rate, I mean that sincerely, she’s first rate, so let’s get that straight.”
This likely may remind all those Hillary Clinton supporters that had just gotten over their dissapointment, that they were dissapointed in Barack Obama and maybe they should not support him. Joe Biden and Barack Obama will have to tread real lightly if they want to win the women back.
